Gisteravond hier gezellig zitten smullen met mijn vriendinnetje, voor mijn verjaardag. We hadden het hele restaurant voor onszelf. En toch stoorde dat totaal niet. Nu hadden we alle aandacht van de supervriendelijke gastvrouw. Een moijito was er niet. Ook geen Hugo om mij blij te maken. Maar er was wel een Chinese zoete witte wijn. Nooit eerder gedronken, maar gaat vanaf nu zeker mijn drankje bij de Chinees zijn. Zo lekker!! Als voorgerecht kozen we om 2 gerechten te delen. 1 van die gerechten was de garnalen in knoflooksaus voor €13,50. En eigenlijk verwachtte voor dat bedrag toch wel een bord vol garnalen. Maar er lagen er welgeteld maar 4 op! 4 garnaaltjes voor €13,50 vind ik toch behoorlijk aan de dure kant. Ook hadden we voor de spareribs gekozen. Deze waren in zeer miniscule kleine stukjes gehakt.. waarom? Het smaakte overigens wel prima hoor. Maar we zaten nog steeds met vraagtekens. Als hoofdgerecht koos mijn vriendinnetje voor de pangang buikspek. En OMG dat was werkelijk verrukkelijk!! Mijn combi gerecht van de doodnormale pangang en kipfilet viel compleet in het niet, vergeleken met de pangang Spek. Mijn kipfilet was super mals en best lekker. Ook het sateetje dat erbij zat, helemaal dikke prima. Maar die pangang Spek, Whoooo!! Ik wil nu nooit meer een andere pangang, dan pangang spek met de saus apart. Ook kreeg ik voor een heel weeshuis aan mihoen op mn bord. Zalig! Maar wel een beetje veel. Tot slot uiteraard nog een dessert gekozen. Vriendin ging voor de bananenboot met aardbeien saus op aanvraag. En ik koos voor roomijs met lychees, verrukkelijk! Als verrassing kreeg ik voor mijn verjaardag een leuk presentje. Echt Superlief, en ik waardeer het enorm. Wij hebben werkelijk genoten, en komen ook absoluut nog eens terug. Ik raad het dan ook ontzettend aan, om hier pangang Spek te komen eten.
